Jay Derrell stepped on stage 18 years ago after being told over the years that he was a real funny dude who could make anyone laugh. Jay tells funny stories and his take on things he dealt with in life. Jay is very funny and clever, you can't get enough of this funny over the top cop comic.

- Jay Derrell honed his comedic talents while growing up in Clayton, North Carolina. As a child he often entertained his family and friends with his quick wit and storytelling ability.
- Jay is an honorably discharged 10 year veteran of the US Army. During his tour of duty, he enjoyed traveling around the country and performing his routine to fellow soldiers. Also for 17 years Jay served as a police officer and became known as the Comedy cop in the Raleigh Durham area. Currently Jay Derrell works as a full time Comedian and Podcast host of Failure to Stop "Uncuffed" Podcast. Jay is the owner/founder of Daisy Pearl Productions LLC.
Jay Derrell has become a comedic fixture along the Raleigh Durham comedy circuit. He has performed at Comedy Clubs up and down the Eastern Coast The Jay Derrell also performed at The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas NV. Additionally, he frequently performs at family reunions, social events and specialty shows.
